Vila Nova de Foz Côa will host next academic year a higher education course in Wine Tourism, corresponding to a Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP). The creation of this course results from a partnership between three entities: the local school grouping, the municipality, and the Polytechnic University of Guarda. The announcement was made last Thursday, marking a significant investment in higher education in the Douro region. This initiative aims to boost the educational offering in the Vila Nova de Foz Côa area, taking advantage of the region's strong connection to wine production.
