Portuguese authorities dismantled a drug trafficking network that was getting cocaine into the country's prisons. The method used by the organization was to hide bags of cocaine inside steaks that were cooked with a thickness sufficient to camouflage the drug packaging. In this way, the network managed to introduce the illicit substance into Portuguese prisons. The dismantling of this operation represents a significant blow to drug trafficking within Portugal's prison system.
