Sampaoli leaves Talleres after seven games

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo31 August 2026 at 13:16

Jorge Sampaoli left the coaching of Talleres, in Argentina. The decision was made after only seven games in charge of the team.

The main reason for the departure was the results crisis. The unsatisfactory performance in the matches played led the club to not persist and opted for the dismissal of the coach.

Sampaoli, who is one of the most internationally known Argentine coaches, was unable to reverse the situation during his brief period in charge of the Talleres team.
