This achievement comes after he had already won the 10-kilometer event in the same category, which means the athlete repeated the feat of climbing to the highest step of the podium in both events he participated in.
Nuno Lopes represented Portugal in the M35 category, which includes athletes aged 35 or over, demonstrating exceptional performance throughout the two competitions held at the South Korean event. The athlete from Castro Daire thus achieved the second gold of these Masters World Championships.
