Barcelos commemorates 98th anniversary of elevation to city

Barcelos commemorated this Monday, August 31st, the 98th anniversary of its elevation to city, with a commemorative program that included several initiatives throughout the day. The celebrations began at 9:00 at the Town Hall, with the flag-raising ceremony. This ceremony featured the participation of the Fanfare of the Humanitarian Association of Firefighters, who were present at the festivities. The event brought together local authorities and citizens to celebrate another anniversary since Barcelos received city status, almost a century ago.
