Constância without guarantee of financing to complete Loja do Cidadão

Correio do Ribatejo31 August 2026 at 12:17

The Constância City Council does not have a guarantee that the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) funding for the completion of the Loja do Cidadão will be maintained, revealed the municipality's president, Sérgio Oliveira, of the PS party, to the news agency.

The deadline for the execution of the work was extended until October 31, at a time when the initial deadline of August 31 associated with the completion of the works was ending.

Sérgio Oliveira stated that, at this moment, there is no guarantee that the funding for the project will be maintained, which puts the continuity of the construction at risk.

The Constância City Council thus faces uncertainties regarding the possibility of completing the Loja do Cidadão without the certainty of PRR financial support, whose program establishes specific execution requirements.
