GNR registered 82 detentions in the Setúbal district in one week

The National Republican Guard detained 82 people in the Setúbal district during a one-week period. The detentions are part of a larger set of inspection and security operations carried out by the GNR in that region.

During the same period, the GNR recorded a total of 1,052 road infractions in the Setúbal district. These infractions include various traffic rule violations committed by drivers in the region.

The operation also resulted in the recording of 164 traffic accidents. This high number of accidents highlights the existing risks on the district's roads and reinforces the need for the inspection actions carried out by the GNR.

The military authorities continue to strengthen their presence on the roads and public ways of the Setúbal district, seeking to reduce the number of infractions and accidents in the region.
