The National Police arrested the thief who was stealing from vessels docked at Valencia Marina. The authorities had been tracking him for some time and managed to arrest him last week. The man, aged 31, was in an irregular situation in Spain and, at the time of his arrest, had no identification documents. He is accused of being the perpetrator of eleven crimes of burglary committed on vessels in the marina during the months of July and August. He acted with almost daily frequency, accessing the interior of yachts and sailing boats after forcing open doors, hatches or ceilings, even managing to enter the vessels while the owners were sleeping inside.
