The National Republican Guard detained several people in the district of Portalegre for different offenses during the period in question. The arrests were distributed across three main categories of crimes.
Five arrests were made for drug trafficking, representing the most frequent reason for arrests. This type of crime has been a priority for the authorities in that region.
Three people were detained for driving under the influence of alcohol, a crime that puts road safety and the lives of other road users at risk.
One person was also detained for driving without a legal license, that is, without possessing a valid driver's license. In total, nine arrests were made across these three categories.
