ANACOM applied a fine of 350 thousand euros to NOS for having unilaterally altered the contractual conditions of its customers. This decision by the telecommunications regulator aims to punish the practice of modifications to contracts without the due consent of consumers. The sanction refers to alterations that were imposed by NOS on its customers without them having the possibility to agree or disagree with the new conditions. This is not the first time that ANACOM has acted against practices of this type in the telecommunications sector in Portugal.
