Preventive detention for drug trafficking and two detained for theft

The Republican National Guard (GNR) of Águeda carried out an arrest for drug trafficking, which resulted in preventive detention. The operation took place in the municipality of Albergaria-a-Velha, in the district of Aveiro.

At the same time, two individuals were detained for theft in the same region. The arrests were carried out by military personnel from the Águeda Territorial Post.

The authorities did not disclose further details about the identities of those detained, the quantities of drugs seized, or the value of the stolen goods.

The case was reported to the competent judicial authority for the appropriate legal procedures.
