Portuguese economy accelerates and grows 2.5% in the second quarter

The Portuguese economy accelerated in the second quarter, registering GDP growth of 2.5% year-on-year.

On a quarterly basis, GDP growth accelerated to 0.8%, after having increased only 0.1% in the previous quarter.

This acceleration represents a significant improvement compared to the beginning of the year, when quarterly growth was practically stagnant.

The data indicate a recovery of economic dynamics in Portugal during the second quarter.

Exiting a franchise should be evaluated before signing

The Brazilian franchise market exceeded R$ 300 billion in annual revenue for the first time, reaching R$ 301.7 billion in 2025, with nominal growth of 10.5% compared to the previous year.
