The 59th Volta à Ilha de São Miguel by Azores Rallye will take place on September 2 and 3. The event features the participation of 29 teams registered to compete in the race.
On Wednesday, September 2, the participating teams will carry out reconnaissance of the stages that make up the event's itinerary. This is a customary stage in rally competitions, where drivers and co-drivers study the route before the competition.
The race is organized by Grupo Desportivo Comercial, the entity responsible for all planning and logistics of the event on the island of São Miguel, in the Azores.
