The construction of the new Basic School Sophia Mello Breyner Andresen, in Entroncamento, began after the signing of the assignment auto of the work. The project represents a municipal investment of almost six million euros, according to the president of the Municipal Council.
The mayor Nelson Cunha considered this a very important work for Entroncamento, stating that "we take a very important step for Entroncamento" with the start of this construction.
The primary school in question bears the name of Sophia Mello Breyner Andresen, a recognized Portuguese poet and writer. The total value of the investment is around 5.9 million euros, being one of the largest municipal projects in the area of education in Entroncamento.
