João Almeida climbs in a Vuelta without Pogacar and with Enric Mas as 'red'

João Almeida is climbing in the Vuelta a España in an edition of the race that does not count with the presence of Tadej Pogacar, one of the usual biggest favorites of the event. The Portuguese, who competes for UAE Team Emirates, has been showing good form during the mountain stages of the Spanish race. Enric Mas appears as the leader of the general classification, wearing the red jersey that identifies the first placed rider in the Vuelta. The race fulfills today a rest day, allowing the cyclists to recover strength before the remaining stages.
