Hundreds of people surrender to sardine on the tile and baked potato in the sand

Hundreds of people participated in a three-day festival where sardines baked on the tile and potatoes baked in the sand were served. The event brought the local community together around traditional gastronomy.

Throughout the festival, between 300 and 400 kilos of sardine and more than 100 kilos of potatoes were consumed, according to Hélder Gonçalves, president of the residents' committee.
