Adriano Álvaro Melo, known as Super Alvinho, is a ten-year-old genius boy from Complexo da Maré, in Rio de Janeiro. At seven years of age, he had already developed the game "Super Alvinho" after participating in an online programming course from Harvard University, in the United States. The young boy also excelled in chess and attended a robotics class at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Priscila Melo, Adriano's mother, is 42 years old and currently lives with her son in a shelter located in Grajaú, in the North Zone of Rio. The family went through difficulties that led them to this social vulnerability situation.
Adriano's last birthday, celebrated in April when he turned ten, was commemorated in a temporary and emergency reception facility for people in street situations, abandonment, or social vulnerability. Despite the obstacles faced since childhood, the boy does not let anything destroy his dreams.
