The Apple, Wine and Olive Oil Fair took place in Carrazeda de Ansiães, demonstrating the strength of the region's agricultural sector. The event brought together local producers who took the opportunity to showcase their products and discuss the challenges they face daily.
During the event, producers identified three major obstacles to agricultural activity in the region: rising production costs, lack of skilled labor, and the need to ensure better access to water for agriculture.
Carrazeda de Ansiães is known for its production of apples, wine and olive oil, sectors that constitute important pillars of the local economy. The fair thus serves as a platform for the promotion of these products and for reflection on the future of agriculture in the municipality.
