Carris presents today solution for future equipment at Calçada da Glória

Carris will present today a solution for the future equipment at Calçada da Glória, in Lisbon. The municipal public transport company is working on a response to replace the Gloria Elevator, which suffered a derailment.

The municipal executive announced the creation of a mission team responsible for studying a new technological system for the future Gloria elevator. This team will aim to analyze the best available options for the rehabilitation of the equipment.

The need for a new solution arises after the derailment incident that affected the Gloria Elevator, one of Lisbon's iconic landmarks and a fundamental means of transportation for mobility in the area of the city.
