The Vila-real city council took what is considered a definitive step to repair the general collector of the joint wastewater treatment plant serving the municipalities of Vila-real, Onda, Betxí and Les Alqueries. The pipe broke just over a year ago when crossing the Ràtils ravine.
The work was awarded to the Agricultural Development Society of Castellon (Facsa) for a value of 519,724 euros, including VAT. This value represents a reduction of approximately 67,500 euros compared to the initial tender budget, which was 587,259 euros.
The winning bid thus represents a decrease of 11.5% from the starting price of the public tender for the intervention. The municipality is thus moving forward to definitively resolve this problem that affects the sanitation system of this area of the province of Castellón.
