Minister Estela Aranha, from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), decided on Sunday to suspend the broadcasting of an advertisement from President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's campaign. The decision refers to an announcement that presented what the campaign called "Bolsonaro's curriculum."
The request for the suspension was made by the PL candidate, who is current President Jair Bolsonaro, Lula's opponent in the election. The minister's decision granted the opposing campaign's request.
The advertisement in question was considered irregular by the Electoral Court, which ordered its removal from the air. The content presented information about Bolsonaro's son, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, in a way that was interpreted as negative advertising by the PL campaign.
