Athletic Bilbao beat Celta de Vigo 2-0 at Balaídos Stadium, in Vigo, in the third round of LaLiga. The visiting team achieved an emphatic victory away from home.
The goals were scored by Álex Berenguer and Robert Navarro, both from quick throw-ins that caught the sky-blue defense off guard. Berenguer opened the scoring at the 20th minute, closely followed by Navarro at the 22nd minute, already establishing a two-goal advantage before the half-hour mark.
This victory represents the first win of the season for Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish competition. Celta de Vigo, for their part, continues without earning any points in this edition of LaLiga.
