Madeiran Ivone Silva won today the title of female junior world champion at the 2nd Paragliding Junior World Championship, held in Krushevo, North Macedonia.
The athlete finished the competition in first place in the women's classification with 2,778.9 points, surpassing British athlete Kanan Thakur, who came in second place with 2,643.1 points. The final difference between the two was 135.8 points.
