Moreirense achieved this Sunday their first victory in the 2026/27 edition of the Portuguese I Liga football championship, by defeating Casa Pia 1-0, in Rio Maior, in a match related to the fourth round of the championship.
The only goal of the match was scored at 24 minutes by Francisco Domingues, a left-back trained at Benfica, who surprised goalkeeper André Gomes with a shot.
With this victory, Moreirense adds their first three points in the competition, after three first rounds without wins. Casa Pia, for their part, failed to score points in this match.
The game took place in Rio Maior, Moreirense's temporary home, and was marked by Domingues' solitary goal, which decided the match in favor of the home team.
