Santiago Giménez, Mexican forward, arrived in Porto to reinforce FC Porto. The 23-year-old player, who acts as a striker, landed in the Invicta city to complete medical procedures and contract signing.
The Mexican arrives at the dragons on loan from AC Milan, the Italian club that holds his sporting rights. The operation includes a purchase option that FC Porto may trigger at the end of the season.
This signing comes at a time when FC Porto is looking to strengthen their attack, already counting on players like Mehdi Taremi and Evanilson in the offensive department. Giménez brings with him the experience acquired at Cruz Azul and Feyenoord.
With this transfer, Santiago Giménez becomes one of the most prominent names in the Portuguese winter market, with the Mexican expected to contribute immediately to the Portuense club's ambitions in national and European competitions.
