Renan Santos (Missão) reacted this Sunday to the decision by Minister Dias Toffoli, of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), who removed from the agenda the process regarding his registration as a candidate for President of the Republic. In a ruling published Saturday night, the magistrate stated that there are "signs of illicit acts" in the registration of the presidential ticket.
The presidential candidate denied irregularities and asked supporters to continue working for his candidacy. In a video posted on social media, he said: "We will not bow down."
According to the decision, the issue raised by Toffoli revolves around the details of the social media presented by Renan Santos's candidacy. The minister pointed out that in petitions filed on 8/19/2026, the candidates that make up the ticket, including Renan Antônio Ferreira dos Santos, need clarification regarding the social media information submitted.
The case will still be analyzed by the TSE, and Toffoli's decision awaits a judicial ruling on the matter raised regarding the registration of Renan Santos's ticket for the Presidency.
