Piauí reaches R$ 257.6 thousand in contracts with microentrepreneurs through Contrata+Brasil

The state of Piauí reached the mark of R$ 257.6 thousand in contracts made through the Contrata+Brasil platform, a federal government initiative. The platform connects microentrepreneurs to public hiring opportunities.

So far, 127 individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs) and 113 family farming producers are registered in the program in the state. Of this total, 72 contracts have already been signed between these professionals and public agencies.

Contrata+Brasil aims to facilitate access of small producers and self-employed individuals to government procurement, promoting economic inclusion and strengthening the local economy. The platform works as a direct channel between small-scale suppliers and public administration.
