The PCP secretary-general, Paulo Raimundo, today criticized the "propaganda" and "selling of illusions" by the prime minister at the PSD Summer University, warning that "between the lines" Luís Montenegro is preparing to "attack teachers and their teaching career".

Raimundo spoke with criticism aimed at Portugal's Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, accusing him of spreading false promises before the audience at the PSD event.

The communist party leader warned that behind Montenegro's speeches are plans to undermine teachers' rights and worsen the conditions of their professional activity in the education system.
