The Libyan midfielder Al Musrati reached an agreement with Besiktas to terminate the contract that linked him to the Turkish club. The termination was confirmed by the official market, ending a connection that did not meet the expectations of both parties.
The 28-year-old player had arrived at Besiktas from SC Braga, a Portuguese club by which he had stood out and gained visibility in European football. His passage through the Turkish club was marked by few opportunities to play regularly.
In the last two seasons, Al Musrati had been loaned by Besiktas to other clubs. First he represented Monaco on loan, in the French Ligue 1, and then Hellas Verona, in the Italian Serie A, thus trying to find more playing time.
With this termination, the Libyan midfielder is free to sign for a new club if he finds a suitable proposal. It remains to be seen what will be the next step in his professional career.
