Pope Leo XIV and the Dalai Lama dedicated prayers to the victims of the floods that hit Nepal and Tibet. Both religious leaders expressed solidarity with the populations affected by the tragedy.
Tunnel specialists from China have already arrived in Nepal to help with search and rescue operations. Chinese technical assistance was mobilized to assist in the attempts to find survivors.
Approximately 3,000 people are missing as a result of the floods. The high number of missing people highlights the severity of the situation in the affected regions.
