An iPhone protected by a RHINOSHIELD case was launched from a height of 30,607 metres over Sweden and landed completely intact, establishing a new Guinness World Records title. The feat consisted of the highest fall of a phone protected by a case over natural terrain ever recorded.
The device was recovered on June 24, in an area near Kiruna, in northern Sweden, after being launched at an altitude of 30,607 metres into the stratosphere. The mission involved an atmospheric launch that tested the case's resistance under extreme conditions.
The idea for this experiment reportedly came after the launch of RHINOSHIELD's AirX product line, which emphasises drop protection. The company decided to go beyond conventional drop tests to demonstrate the durability of its products in a more impressive and memorable way.
