Benfica has already closed the signing of player El Karouani, from Morocco. The player could arrive in Lisbon as early as this Monday to complete the medical procedures and formalize the contract with the Portuguese club.

However, the transfer of Colombian Gustavo Puerta is "frozen". The forward is waiting for his compatriot Ríos to leave the club for the operation to move forward, as the two transactions appear to be linked.
