Flamengo offers Plata's value to bring replacement and gem from River; see proposal

Flamengo's board will use the value from the sale of Gonzalo Plata to sign two forwards. The Brazilian club made an offer between 7 and 8 million dollars for young Joaquin Freitas, 19 years old, who plays at River Plate. Additionally, it offered 5 million euros for Anthony Valencia, Ecuadorian who currently plays at Royal Antwerp, Belgium. Anthony Valencia is one of Flamengo's targets for the attack. Both negotiations advanced in the last hours. The advantage for Flamengo is that the club will make the payments for both signings over three years, even with receiving Plata's sale in cash.
