Dozens of invisible guitars took over the Finnish city of Oulu during the World Air Guitar Championship, held on Saturday. About 50 participants from 13 countries took to the stage to compete for the title, pretending to play a guitar to music with 60-second performances.
The event brought competitors from different parts of the world who performed air guitar routines, a style that simulates playing guitar without the actual instrument. Each participant had one minute to demonstrate their imaginary skills before the audience and judges.
The competition took place in Oulu, a city located in Finland, which hosted this unique event bringing together representatives from different nations around a shared passion for imaginary guitar. The championship celebrated the creativity and entertainment provided by this unique form of artistic expression.
