At least seven dead in ferry shipwreck with more than 200 people on board off Cyprus

A boat with 267 passengers and crew sank this Sunday off the north coast of Cyprus. The vessel departed from Kyrenia port heading to Turkey but sank shortly after beginning the journey.

The shipwreck caused at least seven deaths. Authorities managed to rescue 237 people alive, although another 23 remain missing.
