Keegan Swirbul, rider from the Efapel Cycling team, conquered this Sunday the sixth edition of the International Douro Grand Prix. The American cyclist managed to keep the yellow jersey throughout the competition, thus guaranteeing the final victory of the race.
The second and last stage was won in a sprint by Iker Bonillo, rider from the Feira dos Sofás-Boavista team, with the finish line located in the city of Porto. This was the decisive stage that decided the winner of the general classification of the race.
Swirbul managed to preserve the lead during the final stage, thus consolidating the first place in the general classification of the race. His consistency throughout the two stages was decisive in securing the triumph in this international cycling competition.
