Marc Márquez achieved an important victory at the Aragon Grand Prix, which allowed him to significantly reduce the gap to the MotoGP World Championship leader.
The Spanish rider managed to get closer to his compatriot Jorge Martín, who competes for Aprilia, reducing the deficit to just 19 points in the championship standings.
With this result, Márquez keeps his hopes alive of fighting for the world title during the rest of the competition season.
Both riders continue in a close battle for the championship lead, with Martín maintaining the advantage but unable to increase the gap over his Spanish pursuer.
