Querétaro, a Mexican football club, has not made the payment for player Paulo Victor's transfer to Santa Clara, a Portuguese club. The situation remains unresolved and the pending debt amounts to approximately one million euros.
Given the lack of payment, Santa Clara has already expressed the intention to proceed with a complaint to FIFA, the governing body of world football, to resolve this dispute regarding the player's transfer.
The case arises at a time when sporting relations between clubs from different continents frequently face challenges related to delays or non-compliance with international transfer payments.
