The American artist Lauryn Hill returned to Portugal after 16 years of absence. The concert took place at Parque da Bela Vista. Lauryn Hill was accompanied by her two children, YG and Zion Marley, who are also musicians and performed as special guests during the show.

Silves commemorates Municipality Day with three days of culture and tributes

The Municipality of Silves celebrates Municipality Day on September 3rd with three days of cultural programming, between September 2nd and 4th, commemorating the 837 years since the conquest of the city. The program includes concerts at Silves Castle, photography exhibitions, the signing of the donation contract for the documentary collection of the Cork Museum, book presentation, visits to the Well-Cistern and a dance and music show. The Municipal Merit Distinctions and the 36th anniversary of the Municipal Museum of Archaeology of Silves are also part of the celebrations, with free entry to all initiatives.
