The prime minister lamented the disruptions recorded in the administration of national secondary exams in digital format, but defended that the transition to this modality was the "correct path" to follow. This was the first time that national secondary exams were held in digital format in Portugal.
During the administration of the exams, several technical failures were identified that affected the normal functioning of the process. These failures forced a postponement by a few days of the release of grades to students.
Despite the technical problems, the prime minister maintained his position that the digitalization of exams represents an important advance for the Portuguese educational system, considering that the long-term benefits justify the initial difficulties faced.
