Elías Bendodo, deputy secretary for Autonomous Community and Municipal Politics and Electoral Analysis for the PP, stated this Sunday that the Ceuta crisis "definitively exposed the inability and null management" of Pedro Sánchez's Government.

Bendodo accused the Spanish Executive of "resisting for the sake of resisting" and of "being there just to be there, not to govern".

The Ceuta crisis served as an example for the PP official to demonstrate his criticism of Sánchez's government's management.

The PS leader, José Luís Carneiro, accused Prime Minister Luís Montenegro of whitewashing "the chaos in exams" at the national secondary level and of "being afraid of the Portuguese people," during a visit to the August Fair in Grândola.
