A man was arrested with cocaine during a police checkpoint in the early morning of this Sunday (30) in the municipality of Ribeiro Gonçalves, in Piauí. The arrest occurred when the suspect was riding a motorcycle and was intercepted by police during a patrol.
The illegal material was found with the suspect at the time of the checkpoint. In addition to the drug, the motorcycle used by the man was also seized by the police authorities.
The case was recorded and the suspect was taken to the police station for the appropriate legal procedures. The investigations continue to investigate possible details about the origin of the drug and other circumstances of the case.
