The expert stated that in a space where a mud wall forms with a height of 10 meters, there is no longer any possibility of survival for anyone in the affected area. The destructive force of this type of mud avalanche surpasses any human capacity for resistance.
The search operations are taking place under extremely difficult conditions, with rescuers trying to work under tons of mud. The massive amount of material dragged by the debris flow significantly complicates any attempt to find survivors.
