The Angra do Heroísmo City Council has already carried out more than 20 cleaning and algae removal actions in the bathing areas of the municipality since the start of the bathing season, which began on June 15. The actions aimed to keep the beaches and bathing areas in suitable conditions for swimmers during the summer season. The council expects that around another 20 similar actions will be needed before the end of the bathing season. This information reflects the ongoing effort of the City Council to ensure the quality of the municipality's bathing areas throughout the season.
