Cais2Cais takes us from the Cacilhas Lighthouse to Olho de Boi, with a caldeirada in view

The Cais2Cais project is a cultural experience that connects the Cacilhas Lighthouse to Olho de Boi, crossing the Ginjal Quay. The initiative combines different artistic languages to explore and reveal this riverside space.

João Monteiro and Francisca Paiva are the creators and protagonists of this proposal, which merges theater, sensory experience and guided visit into one activity. The two artists cross the Ginjal Quay to tell stories of the past of that area.

The experience allows participants to learn about the history of this space through an immersive and participatory approach. At the same time, the project invites reflection on the future of the Ginjal Quay and the riverside area in question.
