The Portuguese footballer Rafael Leão signed a contract with Galatasaray until 2030, in a permanent transfer from AC Milan. The Portuguese international forward thus leaves the Italian club after several seasons serving the rossoneri.
The deal between the two clubs was valued at 38 million euros, an amount representing the sum paid by Galatasaray to Milan for signing the 25-year-old player. The Turkish club thus managed to secure the services of one of the most valuable players in Portuguese football.
With the move to Istanbul, Rafael Leão joins Galatasaray's sporting project, one of the most historic and decorated clubs in Turkish football. The Portuguese player will face a new competitive challenge in the Süper Lig, the national championship of Turkey.
