Sales Festival in Vendas Novas bets on a thousand solidarity bifanas

The Festival of Vendas Novas takes place from September 4 to 7, combining this year the gastronomic tradition with solidarity through the "1,000 Solidarity Bifanas" initiative. The action invites visitors to purchase tickets for a minimum donation of one euro.

All funds raised will go to the Southern Regional Branch of the Portuguese League Against Cancer, an association that fights against this disease in Portugal.

The highlight of the initiative is scheduled for September 6, when six traditional establishments in Vendas Novas will join together to cook the thousand bifanas that give their name to the solidarity project.
