The Serenata da Romaria d'Agonia in Viana do Castelo was postponed due to weather conditions and takes place this Saturday at midnight. The show, which was initially scheduled for an earlier date, will have an estimated duration of 20 to 23 minutes.
The event features more than 700 thousand pyrotechnic effects distributed across more than 25 launch positions along the Lima river and the Eiffel bridge. The operation involves more than 50 professionals in its preparation and execution.
The Lima river serves as the grand floating stage of the Serenata, while the Eiffel bridge hosts one of the most emblematic moments of the night. This year, the monumental fire cascade along the entire length of the bridge will be accompanied by new multimedia elements.
The postponement required a demanding logistical operation, with all the structure installed in the river and on the bridge having to be dismantled for safety reasons and prepared again for this Saturday, keeping intact the artistic design initially planned.
