Initiative Liberal to make announcement of "serious tax reform" in Quarteira

SAPO Notícias29 August 2026 at 19:10

The party Initiative Liberal will make an announcement of a "serious tax reform" in Quarteira, during an event called "A'Gosto da Liberdade". The initiative appears as a political proposal from the party for the country.

Mariana Leitão, a party member, will be the main speaker at this event, where she will deliver a speech arguing that "the path of reformism must be taken". The message aims to appeal to the need for structural changes.

Initiative Liberal justifies this proposal, pointing out that it does not find the reforms it considers necessary in the current Government. The party identifies specific areas where it believes changes should be implemented.

The priority areas mentioned are Social Security, Civil Protection and Justice. The party presents these three areas as the main targets for the reform it proposes.
