Açoriano Oriental29 August 2026 at 20:01

The Kremlin announced today that it does not see conditions for an improvement in relations between Russia and the European Union. The spokesperson for the Russian Presidency, Dmitri Peskov, was responsible for making this statement.

Peskov pointed out as the main reason for this situation the military strengthening of European countries. This position from the Kremlin comes at a time of continued tension between Moscow and Brussels.

The position expressed by the Russian government indicates that no significant rapprochements are expected in the short term between the two parties. This statement reflects the current state of diplomatic confrontation between Russia and the European Union.
